# Codesift

Codesift is a platform which provides AI-assisted coding for open-ended survey responses.

Important differentiators:

- Codesift charges by data processed, not by the number of responses. For most surveys with responses of a few sentences
or less, it's dramatically cheaper than pay-per-response tools
- You can download the combined coded responses as CSV or JSON
- Codesift includes a confidence score with its coding to make it easy to flag areas where human attention may be needed


## Use Cases

Codesift is great for small market research studies, or larger survey projects where speed and cost are ideal. You can
easily pull its results into full-featured survey systems, but avoid their high costs for coding open-ends.
